The eight coaches square off in a tournament-style bracket. Each month the coaches are asked a question and you’ll have the opportunity to vote on who has the best answer. Whichever coach gets the most votes will move on to the next round until a champion is declared on November 27. All donations will benefit the CFAF, and donors receive entries into a drawing to attend the 2015 College Football National Championship game.

Meet the Coaches
Mike Bellotti |
Mike Bellotti was a part of the University of Oregon’s football program for 20 years and served as head coach of the Ducks for 14 of those years. He is the winningest coach in Oregon Football History and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
Bobby Bowden holds the NCAA record for most career wins and bowl wins by a Division I FBS coach. During his time at Florida State, Bowden led FSU to a National Title in 1993 and a BCS National Championship in 1999. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
John Cooper |
John Cooper was the head coach at the University of Tulsa, Arizona State University and The Ohio State He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
Cooper’s overall Head Coaching record is 192-84-6 with nine conference titles.
LaVell Edwards |
Former Brigham Young University coach LaVell Edwards amassed 257 career victories and ranks as one of the most successful college football coaches of all time. Edwards guided the BYU Cougars to a national championship in 1984. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
Edwards’ overall Head Coaching record is 257-101-3 with nineteen conference titles.
Johnny Majors |
Johnny Majors served as the head football coach at Iowa State University, the University of Pittsburgh, and his Alma Mater Tennessee. He led the Pittsburgh Panthers to a national championship in 1976. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1987.
Majors’ overall Head Coaching record is 185-137-10 with three conference titles.
R.C. Slocum |
R.C. Slocum served as the head football coach at Texas A&M University from 1989 to 2002 becoming the winningest coach in Texas A&M Aggies football history. Slocum was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2012.
Slocum’s overall Head Coaching record is 123-47-2 with four conference titles.
Gene Stallings |
Eugene Stallings played college football at Texas A&M University, where he was one of the “Junction Boys,” and later served as the head coach at his alma mater from 1965 to 1971. He was also the head coach of the University of Alabama where he won a national championship in 1992. Gene was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach on 2011.
Barry Switzer |
Barry Switzer spent sixteen years as head coach of the University of Oklahoma, where he won three National Championships and four years as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. He is one of only three head coaches to win both a college football national championship and a Super Bowl. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
Switzer’s overall Head Coaching record is 197-53-4 with twelve conference titles.

About CFAF
The College Football Assistance Fund is a
non-profit tax exempt organization dedicated to the support of football
players who have sustained serious injuries through college football.
Assistance will be provided to ease the burden of medical costs
associated with injuries such as joint replacement, spine treatment,
neurological care and other related expenses.
The CFAF was established in 2010 by a group of collegiate coaches and athletic administrators concerned about the limited resources available to injured football players.
